About Sarah Richards

Principal

Sarah is a Canadian Island girl at heart. She moved to Vancouver and worked for more than 10 years growing her reputation as a marketing and communications strategist, where she worked for a diverse range of technology companies. Her love of creating events led her to work on launching events including Vancouver Film School’s internationally recognized Game Design Expo, the Inaugural Ride to Conquer Cancer Fundraising event for the BC Cancer Foundation, the Canadian Hydrogen Fuel Cell Conference and World Hydrogen Energy Conference; hosting more than 50 countries in Toronto.

The last six years she transitioned her passion into event sales & sponsorship management, breaking partners out of the cookie cutter medal level sponsorship package offerings. While working for PR1ME Strategies she had the opportunity to work on a vast portfolio of programs both national and international organizations including Pharmaceutical, Technology, Tourism, Non-Profit, Aerospace, and more.

Selling more than $3m annually she transitioned to a remote role in 2015 with PR1ME and had a record sales year working from Europe. With remote work under her belt, she continued traveling and landed with Ireland’s largest publication and events company, Ashville Media Group, where she oversaw the streaming of sponsorship offerings of 12 national events, sourced multi-year partnerships and created dynamic and bespoke opportunities which elevated both the sponsors and the events.

Now as a citizen of the world, she is back in Canada to launch her own consulting business which allows her to continue to work with clients from across the globe to deliver creative & engaging partnerships.
